Midwest Wind Energy
Nordic Energy Services offers Premium Wind Energy from the Midwest region available to all of
our commercial energy customers. Wind Energy is a sustainable, clean, green energy that uses
wind collected by turbines to generate electricity.
Wind energy is clean and helps your business offset your carbon footprint. Wind Energy is
available through the purchase of Renewable Energy Certificates, or RECs.
RECs can be purchased separately from or in addition to your current conventional supply. One
certificate represents one Megawatt hour (MWh) of energy. RECs are a tradable commodity and can
be bought and sold separately from your electricity.
Seller’s Choice
Our Seller’s Choice product offers all of our commercial energy customers the opportunity
to buy RECs to offset their carbon footprint and promote renewable and green energy resources.
Seller's Choice can be one or a combination of the following green energy sources from around the nation:
- Solar Power
- Wind Power
- Wave Power
- Geothermal Power
- Tidal Power
- Biomass
This product offers more flexibility and potentially better rates on RECs based upon demand.
If you are interested in purchasing RECs, but are less concerned about the specific type of
resource the energy is coming from, our Seller’s Choice national product is for you.
