West Penn Power Electric Alternative in Pennsylvania

Consumers in Pennsylvania have the power of choice at their fingertips. They can choose who supplies their home or business with electricity. With the ability to decide for themselves, Pennsylvanians can opt to go with a West Penn Power Alternative like Nordic Energy

Nordic Energy is an alternative retail electric supplier. This means we can offer additional benefits to consumers that go unmatched by utility companies. When you choose Nordic Energy, you gain access to superior customer service, extensive rewards programs, and a dependable, reliable source for your home’s or business’ energy needs.

Nordic Energy is a West Penn Power Electric Alternative

To understand Nordic Energy’s role in the world of energy, it helps to understand some basics about the state of energy infrastructure in Pennsylvania. West Penn Power is a utility company. That is, it delivers energy to your home or business and acts as the responsible party for the upkeep and maintenance of energy infrastructure. So, for instance, if your power goes out, you would call West Penn Power to make them aware, so they can examine and resolve the issue.

In many cases, West Penn Power may also serve as your energy supplier. That means you purchase electricity from them and pay them to deliver said electricity where it's needed. When West Penn power acts in both roles, they hold a lot of power, no pun intended, over your monthly electric bill.

To help consumers and aid in driving down energy costs, Pennsylvania’s state allows consumers to choose who supplies their home or business with electricity. Should you decide to switch suppliers and go with an alternative retail electric supplier, like Nordic Energy, you’ll purchase your energy from us.

It should be noted that this doesn’t change the party responsible for maintaining the infrastructure that delivers electricity. Your current utility company would still serve in this role and should be your point of contact if you’re dealing with a power outage or downed power line.

By choosing to go with Nordic Energy, you’re putting the power, again, no pun intended, back in your hands. Alternative retail electric suppliers have to go above and beyond to compete with utility companies, which means that these alternative suppliers often offer superior benefits and advantages to consumers.

Why Choose Us?

The Nordic Advantage is behind almost everything Nordic Energy does. We are a customer-focused company that offers superior customer service and impressive rewards. Currently, we serve over 140,000 residential customer equivalent accounts throughout the country. Through our customers, we’ve developed ways that help keep customers satisfied while setting us apart from utility companies or other alternative suppliers.

Customer service serves as the backbone of everything we do. We take genuine pride in the way we can effectively and efficiently respond to your questions and needs. When you call Nordic Energy for help, you won’t be routed through a series of phone trees that leave you feeling frustrated and ignored. We provide each of our customers with a dedicated sales executive that’s focused on your needs.

We also don’t stop there, though. Each sales executive is backed by a team of energy management professionals who understand energy markets and our customers’ needs. This means you have unmatched access to information that other suppliers may make difficult to find.

In fact, at Nordic Energy, we want to make it easier for consumers to make informed decisions. That is why we give our customers the same market intelligence we look at. This allows you to see how prices may be affected one way or the other and make the best decision for your energy needs.

We also offer various newsletters to our customers, such as the Weekly Gas Outlook, Weekly Natural Gas, and Weekly Electric newsletters. Each contains essential energy market information and reiterates our commitment to encourage informed decision-making for your home or business.

To further benefit consumers, we engage in sourcing practices that allow us to offer competitive pricing. We use multiple sources for our customers’ energy needs. By purchasing from multiple sources, we gain the necessary leverage to pay some of the lowest market prices. Our competitors, though, often source their energy from only one market, which can incur higher costs.

Our competitive prices also come with a rewards program that makes it easy to rack up points. Nordic Energy customers receive $50 in reward dollars each month, which can be spent in literally hundreds of thousands of ways. You can use them to purchase gift cards, travel specials, and entertainment deals, among other things. Even better, when you switch to Nordic Energy, we’ll also give you a $100 Amazon gift card after being our customer for 60 days.

FAQs

If I switch to Nordic Energy, who should I call with any issues?

Any issues with the delivery of your energy, such as an outage or maintenance request, will still be resolved by your utility company. Questions about electricity prices or your Nordic Energy account should be directed to us.

What will my bill look like?

Most consumers will still receive only one bill that lists charges by your utility company for delivering electricity and our agreed-upon charges for supplying electricity. In some cases, though, businesses may receive a separate bill for those charges.
